[/quote] Actually, you are incorrect...I volunteered last year (the only year they asked for volunteers - with the kindergarteners) about 20 times...once a week for months. Our lunch duty was NOT eating with the kids. It was helping the, through the line, opening milks, gogurts, etc., wiping the tables, sweeping the floors, etc. Oh and I'm a lawyer and work. This year they don't take or ask for volunteers. Since she was not from here, and may be at a school where no volunteers are needed, I wanted her to know of another option.
