^^ How is OP on a high horse? So, if you see questionable conduct and decide to say something you're on a high horse? Well, in that case I'm going to stay on my high horse. If I had knowledge of a teacher in porn, I'd say something to the school. If its okay and no issue for our educators to be porn stars, I'm sure the school would tell me. I once had knowledge of a school teacher who was a drug addict (I work on addictions counseling). I secretly told the school. Guess I should have minded my business. Well, glad this stupid thread wasn't hear when that went down. Turns out the teacher was using at school and while high was seducing students. Not a big deal huh? I should get off my high horse, huh?
Your stories sound made up. But if a teacher was using drugs at school and seducing students, clearly that's an issue. A teacher doing porn knowing that it will be posted is an issue. A teacher merely having nude pics online? Eh...not so much. Again, how do we know they weren't posted by an ex. Porn revenge is what I think it's called. If OP reports the teacher for having nudies online, I can assure you that in and of itself will not warrant any sort of reprimand. In fact, it may just elicit sympathy--especially if she didn't know they were there. In fact, a private sex tape leaked by an evil ex won't warrant reprimand. It will be embarrassing as hell to the teacher, but it shows no conflict with her ability to perform her teaching duties. Just shows a victim of a nasty ex. TRUST ME, I've worked with teachers who've had nasty exes try to embarrass them by contacting their principals and even superintendent in one case. Nothing happened except we all commiserated with her about what a crazy ex she had. (Oh yes, he contacted us colleagues too--repeatedly) Fortunately, it's only happened with 2 colleagues in my loooong career. It's not a normal occurrence. Then again, with technology maybe it is more common these days. By the way PP, did you violate your professional duties by sneakily reporting this teacher? I assume you did, otherwise you wouldn't have had to do so secretly. Should you lose your job for being a weasel?
And your response sounds like something from a criminal who got caught. I hope you're not around children. I also hope anyone with information that could prevent the exposure of children to deviant adults will do whatever is within their power to help. Anyone who questions someone who turned in a teacher doing drugs and preying on students is a sick individual and it's just creepy that they're lurking on DCUM- a forum for moms and dads. With respect to the teacher who took nude photographs, if she was a victim of invasion of privacy and someone posted the pictures without her permission, I hope OP considers this before telling the school. This would be such a horrible violation of a teacher- completely unfair. Newsflash to everyone- don't take nude photos if you're not okay with them finding their way on to the internet.
