Actually, I am terribly invested in politics in the city.  I know Muriel Bowser.  I live in Ward 4.  I'm just not impressed.  Oh - and she is absolutely a dud.  She hasn't done anything in 8 years.  Not having any ethics charges does not make you a good candidate.[/quote]Wow. She's been in office eight years? And I still wouldn't recognize her if she walked by me on the street. I live in Ward 6 so she's a bit of a non-entity to me but I'm pretty sure I'd at least do a double-take if I walked by any other council member who's been around awhile. (Sorry Kenyan McDuffie and David Grosso, I still don't know what you look like.) I'm trying to keep an open mind until I know more but that City Paper piece was disheartening. [/quote]
