OP here... The results were very good, composite 140 (99.6%). I am very happy but I still think that if I knew that some sections were timed I would have told DC to do faster. Apparently, kids are not told that some parts are timed and this can affect their results regarding speed etc.

So to answer your question, yes, now that we have the results, I am satisfied that we did the right thing not prepping at all (I wouldn't know where to begin anyway). But, until we got the results, I was really nervous - especially after reading all those posts about "parents having the obligation to do everything in their power to help their kids realize their potential" etc. etc.

Now, we are just waiting for the eligibility letter, hoping that we don't need to go to an appeal and that DC gets in without the WISC results. I am not sure how to handle an appeal, if needed...[/quote]
