Aquasana faucet filter (under-sink, 3 element). I also grew up on good well water (tested) so don't like drinking most tap water. The filter does a great job.
Does well water taste better than tap? Is it sweeter?
It depends on the well (seriously). I don't know about "sweeter", in our case (northern NJ well, away from any pollution, agri runoff etc.) it was a deep well and it just tasted "clean", not sweet, not chlorine-ish, etc. YMMV, different wells will be different, I'd suggest anyone with a well have it tested from time to time. The Aquasana filter does a great job of getting any trace of chlorine/chloramine-like taste out (along w/ the other things it filters per the tests on web site etc.).
