You'd have to be a fool, not a hero, to make a statement you couldn't prove with first-hand information. At that point in DCPS history, to say that you didn't think certain kids at certain schools could have possibly improved so much in a year's time was to acknowledge you were a racist loser who thought that "poor black kids can't learn." So many people in power were ready to believe in a miracle instead of obvious cheating. Why was that?[/quote]
