Some advice:  don't assume that anyone who criticizes a school was rejected from it.  It might make you feel good to think that - it's certainly the most facile response to criticism - but it's pretty feeble as a rebuttal.

I hope she doesn't know what she's talking about.  Our DC will be attending Beauvoir in the fall, and I hope the "take yourself and your child very seriously" and the "no humor permitted" was a joke.
