[/quote] My 2 sons, now in college, wore shorts almost every day from middle school all the way through high school. DH and I realized pretty quickly that it was pointless to keep nagging them about this. With teens you have to pick your battles and we did. Sure, some of their teachers and friends ribbed them about it, but neither they nor we cared. Why should we? They're excellent students, varsity athletes, do community service, attend religious services regularly, and earn enough in the summers for all spending money during the school year. Most important, they're happy young men with strong family relationships and friendships. So, go ahead and mock. I will say, however, that they are now both in college in NY, and they do wear pants.:) [/quote]
