The Prinicpal at Mosby Woods is good; she has command of the school. Both APs are really good, too. The kids respect all 3 in the administration. Guidance is great. We have 2 on staff and both are veapp good. The school has a lot of after school activities. Very active PTA. Each class goes on 2 field trips a year, which the PTA pays for. The PTA also pays for, I think 3, in school performances a year. The teachers are AMAZING! We have 3 at the school and have been pleased each year. I love the 1st and 2nd grade teams; you cannot go wrong with any of them! I am only familiar with the 3-6 AAP and have been really pleased with all. They have funky or freaky Fridays, they switch around the AAP and General Ed classes so the kids co-mingle with the entire grade. I think this is monthly. I am not aware of animosity between AAP and Gen Ed parents. In fact, the PTA board consists of both and they are a tight group. All around a great school. The school is diverse; just like the DC metro area. A great mix of kids and families. Have a great group if core friends that we have met over the years. We feel truly blessed to be part of the school community.
