The highways/major roads are laid out in such a way that you have to drive through the center of the city, with multiple stoplights, to get to the hospital (unless you live in Fells Point) and it can take a long time depending on when you're traveling (a few minutes in the middle of the night; 30-40 minutes in rush hour).
