Lisa Gore has major ethics issues. Doubt she'd run as the Board of Ethics--BEGA has already advised her to recuse from meetings and she has refused to, instead saying its up to her to decide if she recuses and she will instead attend "as a member of the public" and continue to influence proceedings she isn't even supposed to be in the room for.....this has been going on ever since she got ousted as ANC head and started her own lobbying organization (which is a 501c4). . Regardless of your opinion on this , her judgement is WAY off. Hope she does something else with her retirement..[/quote]

Only a ward 4, west of park NIMBY opposed to the affordable housing proposal at Chevy Chase could write this.

If you actually follow this issue, it is total bunk and hypocrisy given the ethics issues other ANC members have as it relates to the Civic Core, Chevy Chase Circle and the Maret field. In those cases, there is actual financial stake. In Lisa Gore's case, she co-started a non-profit to help support affordable housing. There is zero money at stake or to benefit her personally as far as I can tell.

So let's stop with the false allegations, it is really unbecoming.[/quote]
