If the alumni want to socialize, it seems like they are welcome and encouraged to do that. And if they want to volunteer, it seems like they can do that as well, with a few constraints that appear focused on preventing potential issues or distractions or whatever the rationale is behind it. And it sounds like the team would be open to discussing the rationale with interested families. Being proactive in anticipating potential issues and trying to head those off before they become problems is way better than being reactive after problems arise. [/quote]
