So how does a score of 769 factor into my kid’s semester grade?
This document looks kind of old, maybe two or three years?: https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/siteassets/district/curriculum/eoc/mcps_eoc_studentflyerwfaqs.pdf But it shows the conversion table on page 3 of the file. So based on this document (again the score ranges might've changed), your kid's 769 MISA score converts to about 90-100 percent or an A. MCPS would use to count as 20 percent of the student's final grade. I forget if final grades are based off of semester grades or quarter grades. But I think it would like Semester 1 grade is worth 40 percent, Semester 2 40 percent, and then MISA percentage/grade 20 percent. Or it might MP3+MP4+MISA score. I'm not 100 percent sure but think of it as how final exams used to(?) be calculated towards the final grade.
