I'm in Boston as well and DH and I did our normal grocery shopping (plus red wine and dark chocolate!) on Wednesday night. I'm thinking that we'll be pretty much stuck this afternoon, tonight, and until midday tomorrow. But then again, I live in an area where the plows will do their job well and right away. I can see if OP lives further out she may be worried (I had a friend who didn't have power for a week out in the boonies when we had the Halloween storm last year), but maybe DH and I are just more laid back.
