This isn’t what happened.  The article says the leak was on 6/11 and happened 30 feet from HC. The article also says it was contained within 30 minutes and that students were evacuated during this time.  HC was not in session on 6/11, so there likely were few kids in the building at the time, and according to a PP, parents of kids who were in the building for a camp were notified and kept updated.

So, OP, your issue seems to be that you were not notified about a gas leak that was contained within 30 minutes at a time when your kid was not at the school.  That’s pretty unreasonable and I think you know that.  Otherwise, you wouldn’t have made the situation out to be something it wasn’t.[/quote]
