I think we can all understand the challenge of their situation. It's hard to make 2 or practice times, there are other things going on in life etc. If they are new to the team (sounds like they are) then they don't have a carpool situation figured out etc.

Exactly what I wrote. Respond "Thanks" and move on. The Board's job isn't to fix things for a single family. The team rep could work with the family to find carpool options, or suggest someone else to talk to. It is not the job of the Board to be involved with this type of challenge for a single swim family.[/quote]
