You have it backwards:

U13 - mostly 7th graders
U14 - mostly 8th graders
U15 - mostly freshman
U16 - mostly sophomores
U17 - mostly juniors
U18 - mostly seniors

Exactly. You say it yourself — there’s misalignment. Many August/September girls who are U15s are repeating U15 next when they’ll be sophomores. So I don’t have that backwards but keep mansplaining please. [/quote]

Some - not many more like you seem to think, which is what I'm correcting. There are far less and if you're being honest with your actual team you'll see the number is very low. My kid's current ECNL team has 4/18 misaligned. Next year is 0/18. Yes, most clubs are going to move kids into the new brackets which are as I described above. [/quote]
