Sophomores are u16 in fall for 2029s
Not all of them. With the new age group change there are going to be many sophomores on U15 teams.
You have it backwards: U13 - mostly 7th graders U14 - mostly 8th graders U15 - mostly freshman U16 - mostly sophomores U17 - mostly juniors U18 - mostly seniors The only misalignment would be if there was an August kid who moved to a younger team
Exactly. You say it yourself — there’s misalignment. Many August/September girls who are U15s are repeating U15 next when they’ll be sophomores. So I don’t have that backwards but keep mansplaining please.
i think you are very wrong ... august/september sophomores would be u16 again - not u15 again.
There are some Aug/Sept 2011 kids that will be sophomores in the fall that will repeat u15. That’s a fact. Nothing to debate about.
Some - not many more like you seem to think, which is what I'm correcting. There are far less and if you're being honest with your actual team you'll see the number is very low. My kid's current ECNL team has 4/18 misaligned. Next year is 0/18. Yes, most clubs are going to move kids into the new brackets which are as I described above.
