Why are there still Ebola outbreaks?
I'm sure dismantling USAID and pretty much every public health agency in the U.S., and taking us out of WHO hasn't helped.
Fine, you pay for it. Go ahead, put your money where your mouth is.
I suspect most Americans would rather their tax dollars pay for disease control that keeps them safe than Trump’s billion dollar ballroom, his brand new Qatari jet and his billion dollar slush fund to reward his supporters who were “wronged” by the government who had the audacity to insist they pay their taxes and not destroy the Capitol building and kill Capitol police officers.
Ballroom is a one time expense. We have been paying for disease control in other countries for 50 years with no end in sight.
No it's not. Its.elextrocitt, sewer updates, renovations, burst pipes, new silverware, linens, maintenance people , lighting and sound system updates, IT, etc not to mention the bunker underneath. Hmmmm opulent unnecessary ballroom or keeping other humans alive and limiting the spread of endemic disease outbreaks. There's stupid vapid selfish and then there's self preservation selfish. I'm happy to be the latter.
