At it again: https://www.realitytea.com/2026/05/20/bethenny-frankel-accused-not-thanking-bakery-owner-for-4000-cake/
They were upfront with the business owner that there were no guarantees on her endorsing or even tagging the cake. They offered to pay. Owner should have realized exposure doesn't pay the bills. -- DC restauranteur who is constantly getting hit up by microinfluencers and even legit places like Top Chef and People Magazine who do not want to pay. If you don't pay me for my work, you're dead to me
Three different things when you send Bethenny stuff and she says she has no obligation to use it or tag the company: A. She wears it, posts herself wearing it and tags a different brand she gets a kickback from (happened) B. She posts photos of the cake as if to say “look at this amazing cake I had” and people ask where it was from and she ignores them (happened) C. You wear the shoes or serve the cake and take no photos and tag no one (did not happen) It is rotten to tag a different shoe company than the one that made the shoes. She doesn’t even back down when confronted with that and simply says that particular pair of shoes was sold out online and her viewers get upset when they can’t buy the products she posts about so she just posted a link to a dupe. Doesn’t apologize to our followers that she was not posting the actual shoes she was wearing. Doesn’t apologize to the shoe company for posting a dupe link. Doesn’t address the fact that she was getting a kickback for the dupe shoes. It’s also rotten to ASK a company to make you a cake and deliver it and to not tag them. She tagged all the other brands… And it wasn’t as if the cake company simply dropped off a cake without it being solicited. Why post cake pics and not tag the bakery?! Just take the cake and don’t post it then. She’s created this façade that she is only posting about products. She genuinely believes in, but the truth of the matter is that without a kickback or some quid pro quo that satisfies her, forget it.
