Maybe the parents of Glax care on the boys side does not matter. Clubs have good and bad teams based on year. What matters is collge commitments.
It’s not like this all happens in a vacuum and is unrelated. Top teams most often correlate to top clubs. If there’s a top 10 team, the club is most likely (obv not always) ranked in the top 20. Top overall club ranking equates to top ranked teams—that’s how the club gets the top ranking. That all translates into college commitments. The #1 club could have a team that is ranked 18th one year—though for a high school aged team that may not really happen—and those college commitments won’t be as “impressive” as one of its teams ranked 1, 2 or 3. Sure. On the flip, you really don’t see say a #40 club out up a top 5 team. Maybe that happens in boys. True the top 5 teams trade places and who’s got the #1 team fluctuates. Commitments are impacted by that. I’d much rather be on a perennial top ranked club with a #15 team than a #15 team of a club whose ranking hovers around 40-60.
Must be very specific for girls, because this doesn't make sense at all on the boys side.
