Seriously? The 1999 warhawks produced Abe Thompson and Clarence Goodson, both of whom played professionally (didn’t Clarence also make the world cup roster one year??) , not to mention about every other guy on that team playing d1 after graduation. I wouldn’t call them pay-to-play. Abe Thompson didn’t need to bribe anyone to let him on their team in the late 90s.[/quote]

Pay to play implies that players who can pay, will get a roster spot; and players who cannot, likely will not. I’m saying teams would have taken Abe even if he couldn’t pay. [/quote]
