I have GERD and Barrett's. For 21 years. The white flour is unusual. The dairy also if it is not creamy unless she also is lactose intolerant. Anyway, Broiled or baked fish, no butter. Broiled strip steak it is not fatty., no butter. Baked potato, salt pepper. Plain pasta. If tiny amounts of butter or grated cheese bother her she really should have he gastronterologist look into it If it is gassiness thstbmakes hrr belch acid ook into FODMAPS.
Thanks yes, I think some of this is more anxiety. She gave up dairy first. Then one thing at a time. But won't introduce anything back in. I did FODMAP and several elimination diets myself because I've had GERD and Dyspepsia and Gastritis. But I reintroduced stuff to find out what my true trigger foods are (garlic and onion are big ones). I'm also lactose intolerant.
