Mine says both parents are to be listed as emergency contacts.[/quote] I have never seen a school form where it would make sense to list a parent as an emergency contact. Emergency contacts are who you call when the people listed as parents don’t respond. I think gender is part of the issue here. If there is a mom listed on the form, even if you write “call dad first” people will call mom. [/quote]
