I totally agree with this.  I have 3 kids and the youngest is a senior in high school at a top private and is student body president and really liked by peers.  However this kid spends a lot of time at home on weekend nights because she really doesn't like the party scene.  I have two older kids who were very much into going out when they were each in high school so this is no slam against kids who party.  But if this is not your thing it can really limit your high school social life at some schools.  [/quote]
