I’m also not comfortable giving MCPS a blank check every year when they are so poor at managing that money. Many homeowners cannot afford the property tax increase the county proposed to pay for MCPS’ budget demands. There is plenty of room to cut the budget in ways that don’t hurt students or school staff - but Taylor doesn’t want to make those cuts. I’d like to see the council force him to do that.[/quote]
