An unconnected family at our UES "connected" preschool did this, and ended up nowhere.  They moved to West Chester and applied to the schools, people said, every single year until their daughter finally got in.  I think it was 2-3 years of applications and rejections.  If you're happy at your local public school, you should go for it.  There is no sense in applying to additional schools you don't want to pay $70,000 to attend.[/quote]

OP here again: sorry did not mean to offend anyone at Trevor or NBS. We are shooting for those top tier schools and if we don’t receive an offer, we have a strong d2 zoned school that we would be happy with. We know families who left after fourth grade to attend TT schools in fifth grade and would be okay to try again then for DD. [/quote]
