+1. We make $300K, so this is $300. In Arlington county right now, they are getting increases well above this amount just for their cars alone, not to mention the increases they're also facing in property taxes.[/quote]

Yes, the Arlington County Board is absolutely awful and perhaps unparalleled in how they squander taxpayers money.  They just recently voted to increase taxes by more than even our county manager asked for.  Passed  4-1. They should all be ashamed.  For all those people saying we voted for it:  there is no one else on the ballot.  The primary candidates are all the same with the same agendas, and whoever runs in the end; they are all the same, and sometimes run unopposed.  I can only hope that with the new tax bills coming, more people will say “enough” and we can get them out![/quote]
