Communism is a political ideology that adopted athiesm to destroy existing (religious) power structures in a fight for power. Athiesm wasn’t the driving force. There is no handbook for athiesm spelling out rules for war and conversions. What is weird is that no one is calling out OP for trying to bait people to make islamophobic comments when all major religions are the same in their propensity to be usurped for evil.
You get a 💯 for semantics. It's actually pretty cute. You cannot just separate institutional ideology (say, communism) from its leaders' personal atheism. You're casually pretending that "all the bad things Stalin did were because of something Marx wrote about the proletariat, but we must separate Stalin's fealty to Marx from Stalin's personal atheism, because Stalin's atheism obviously provided him with a perfect moral compass, because atheism is like that. Or something." That's ridiculous. Can you explain what your atheist leaders were doing, and where we can see their atheist morals in action, during Mao's cultural revolution? Also. There may not be an "atheist handbook" ( as if that were some key criterion), but we see you guys arguing for what you call "athiesm" (sic) every single day on DCUM, so the drive for conversion is definitely big among "athiests" (sic). And fwiw, some of the dumb weekly "gotchas" definitely give some atheist pub saying, "Here, try out this unanswerable gotcha on the people of faith you know!" whether or not that's actually the source of these (often ignorant) weekly gotcha posts.
You have a lot on your chest. I wish you well.
