I am not going to drop something else to take a vacation with a friend. I have a friend like OPs and she completely understands. We talk on the phone every few weeks to keep the connection. But when I am overwhelmed with work, aging parents, kids, job etc, she is always patiently there when I come up for air. I cherish her. [/quote]
