Ask your kid’s teacher. And ask them to be honest. They’ll tell you if your kid can handle it.

Is this still the case? My 7th grader is in regular Math 7 (not honors) and being pushed into Algebra next year. It appears we are skipping Math 8/pre-algebra for most kids now.[/quote]
