I've had multiple oral surgeries due to jaw problems and I absolutely hate percocet and have chosen to white knuckle pain over it. Everyone is different when I take it I feel like I can't think clearly and everything is fuzzy. I absolutely hate it.
This is key. DD hates the fuzzy and won't take more than necessary first day. We cut in half. (she has had lots of surgeries). I love it but get off it quick because constipation freaks me out. (I have had only two surgeries). My mother gets nauseated and also takes it only first day and then moves onto otc meds (two hip surgeries). So key is to see for you if it helps pain and then get off it right quick. If it helps with pain everyone needs to stop treating it like the antichrist. It's a helpful med FFS that gets people through the worst of invasive surgeries. I don't know why people worship pain these days.
