They probably move stuff because they mop and vacuum last and allow the floor to dry? Not a big deal to reset the house!
+ 1 Just the vacuum and mopping, the bathrooms and kitchen - is absolutely worth it for me. I see my cleaner doing the work that my DH and my kids don't do. So, yes, I do have to work alongside her to get my house the way I want and for my own peace of mind. Also, my cleaner will deep clean my 2 fridge and 2 freezers or clean my garage or organize my pantry with me, if I tell her not to do the bedrooms and the formal dining room and dining room. She will sort out my patio and porch - if I tell her to skip the basement. So, my dirtiest and most mental block areas get sorted out by her at each cleaning - but then I am setting things right and also letting her skip a lot of areas. If I have specific projects, she comes on non-cleaning days and works for $35/hour for 4-6 hours. But, I actually have a gem of a person who cleans for me. So, I take care of her. Lunch and team and I give my own cleaning supplies to her. She is a mom and has her own household to take care of. Her workday does not end when she reaches home. So, I make my home a place that she likes to come and work and where she is respected and valued.
