As in yelled at me and told me that I was a horrible person for making their daughter think she was smart (yes, the Dad said this) and that the religious college not too far from home was plenty good for a girl who would really just be going to college to find a husband.

The saddest part was that the parents really just didn't think the girl was smart. They thought their son was a genius who wasn't applying himself even though he was just a nice average kid and they wrote off the daughter's 4.0, 99th percentile test scores, SG positions, etc. lucky.  [/quote]
