[/quote] If you know that you need to review his work immediately, make the deadline at a time when you know you'll have time left in your workday to review it. If you need him to be available after your review, make the deadline yet earlier so that there will be time within his normal working hours (and don't authorize any requests to leave early on those days). I'm sure his current behavior is very annoying, but this aspect is on you to fix. [/quote]
