First, by taking kids/house repair/pets off the table, that's a good 30% of our conversation, to be honest. But we love mulling over these things, as we have four grown kids who provide ample discussion fodder. Our dog has got to be half of that 30%. She's a joy. But for the other 70% - let's see. Our finances, my mom, trips to take, current events, movies, books, what we see on bike rides and window shopping, our aches and pains (this is probably a good 5%), philosophical questions about life, the universe, and everything.
