If Jesus is important to you, fine. Just don’t tell me about it.
Why do you come to a forum discussing religion and tell people you don’t want to hear about religion?
DP. Because it's a specific answer regarding the OP's question. I'm Christian but I don't want to talk about it with co-workers, acquaintances or strangers but I have no prejudice against them. I think a lot of people who feel newly strong in their faith tend to talk about it to others who may or may not want to hear about it and she may perceive that as prejudicial when it's not intended to be. I will cut off a religious conversation if someone starts one with me. The culture is culturally Christian at the very least. Christmas is a federal holiday. Most people are NOT prejudiced against Christians. I find it preposterous when people say this. They are looking for conflict. People who say this also tend to be people who believe there is only one way to be a Christian, whatever that sect is. Try ecumenical thinking, OP.
