For the application high schools, you can get matched, or you can be waitlisted (essentially, the school would like to admit you, but they do not have enough spots, and if enough folks turn down slots, your kid may get in), or you can be rejected by the school. When you do not get into the school, the lottery has you listed as "ineligible." Sorry. Hope you and your kid are psyched about your #2 option![/quote]
