[/quote] It's always shocking to me how badly these false cases can go for poor people. The weight of the system (and now the weight of AI) is thrown at people, and there's no way for them to fight it. The story of teenager Kalief Browder, who was mistakenly accused of stealing a backpack and thrown into jail for 18 months because his family couldn't afford money for $3000 in bail haunts me.
