It takes a few seconds to respond. [/quote] +1 My parents are in their 80’s and I either text or talk to them every day, even if it’s just a quick exchange. I don’t care how busy I am of what I have going on, I will always find time to respond to a text or give them a quick call. So many of my friends no longer have their parents and I am grateful I still have both of mine. OP is allowed to feel how she feels but many of us are also allowed to think it’s a shame. [/quote]
