We are weighing the pros/cons of a similar decision to travel to Europe next week. Any insider perspective on actual increased risk traveling through Europe?
I would avoid Paris. For whatever reason, that city seems to attract terrorists…and the crown Prince of Iran was apparently in Paris yesterday during his interview on 60 Minutes.
Well you might want to leave the DC area then because he has lived here for decades. There are some nice caves in Kentucky that will probably be safe....for now.
I’m the pp you are snarkily responding to. Let me explain: my husband and I both thought it was interesting that the interview was conducted in Paris. Presumably he was encouraged to leave DC for his own safety. I’m far from a nervous Nelly, but I am very concerned about my safety in DC. I live in the burbs but commute to an area in DC that could easily be targeted. Despite being a lifelong liberal, I know that terrorists most definitely entered the US during the Biden Admin. There are sleeper cells, and there are random crazies that have been inculcated thanks to misinformation social media campaigns. It isn’t silly to think about your safety in DC and other areas now—including major cities like Paris. Tourist areas are easy targets. And like I said, Paris seems to have attracted terrorists. Simply put: they walk among the locals, and who knows where or when anything might happen? I personally wouldn’t enjoy visiting major tourist areas in Paris now. YMMV
Wow. Glad I don't live in your universe.
PP just needs to hire a taster to make sure they aren't being poisoned. Who knows where or when it might happen
