So why do you care?[/quote] I care because I think that school should be teaching kids the material that they need to learn to be successful adults and giving then a 50% on work that they are not doing is not teaching them anything. I care because I am tired of seeing kids who are failing passed on the the next grade so that we can meet graduation rate requirements. we care more about the statistics then actually teaching kids. I care because we are not providing our kids, and there by society as a whole, a basic education that should help them succeed in society. It is a crappy policy that hurts kids, hurts society, and inflates statistics to make people feel better.[/quote]
