No one was dragged into a van but there were strongly worded emails and talks about "expectations" and "importance" of going. And that implies consequences. [/quote] I don't understand parents who sign up for top level teams and then complain about participating in top level travel tournaments. The AC Futsal tournament is this area's highest level futsal tournament, a national championship qualifier. They only let quality teams participate. The fact they even got to go is good for player development. Alexandria does offer a lower level futsal team/ league that only plays local events. Just commit to that team -problem solved. This is like qualifying for a regional tournament at the end of the season, then turning around to complain about having to travel for it. Reasonable families know what they signed up for. This thread is full of trolls -vs- actual families participating in the program. [/quote]
