Pipeline IS a great club. People in the DC/Baltimore area don’t think of a one hour drive as a big deal.

get away with not developing talent in-house because they knew a few kids would peel off from clubs like Pipeline because the the allure of that MLS badge. Now if those guys go to or stay at Coppermine, BA is going to struggle to keep up. [/quote]

Not sure what you mean, I live in Baltimore and my kid played soccer (senior in high school now).  Pipeline and BA have far better college placement than Coppermine.  Many people don't want to drive an hour on 95 during rush hour to Copperplex or whatever it is called when they can take their kid to an equally good or better team that is half an hour or less away.  MIAA A conference soccer is amongst the best leagues in the country and the private school kids all get waivers from BA.  Still expected to go to at least one practice a week though, so many prefer Pipeline because they don't practice in September and October.  [/quote]
