In case this is helpful for any other parents: Kid got the flu over the weekend when student health was closed, so had a telehealth appointment and got a prescription sent to CVS nearby. CVS was out of the antiviral and so were all CVS in a 25 mile radius. I was able to transfer the prescription to Amazon pharmacy and they delivered it the same day. I have never used Amazon pharmacy before but am now a fan and very grateful for this option. And the price was cheaper than it would have been at CVS.
Does your kid’s school allow Amazon deliveries to the dorm? Or have an Amazon locker on campus? My kid’s school has them go through the campus post office, which is closed on weekends, and there’s no Amazon locker on campus. Packages do get processed quickly when they arrive, so they generally get them the same day Amazon delivers them—but again, only if the post office is open.
