HB is definitely more diverse than my kid's home middle school and elementary school in North Arlington. DC has a wonderfully diverse group of friends at HB. Kids of different races, different ethnicities, different national origins. Some of their friends speak different languages. Some have relatives in other countries and travel there on breaks. Kid has been exposed to different cultures - holidays, food, etc. - from their friends. It's been really great. [/quote]

I will add that I'm not totally sure what you mean by diversity, so I'll add that HB is also much more diverse socioeconomically as compared to our N Arlington elementary school. It also seems much more accepting of disability too, and my kid is also friends with several kids with disabilities.
