I’m interested in this too - also considering Lee for next year (though my kids are younger, but we’d like to find a place we can stay long term)
Well, I think it depends on a few things. How your kids are academically and whether it bothers you if they are testing below grade level. Some people are bothered, others are not. Some kids do fine at Lee, others test low, and it's an open question how any one kid would have done if they had been sent to a different school. How much will it bug you to have friends peel off in older grades, knowing that you will experience that at any school that lacks a middle school feeder. How do you feel about the 4th-6th grade classroom being very light on 6th graders-- what will that be like for your kid as a 6th grader? Fewer peers on their level academically and developmentally. Not as much prep expt for middle school in terms of organizational skills, dealing with having more than one teacher, etc. What's your plan for middle school? What's your IB, do you understand that Lee doesn't have feeder rights to Sojourner Truth? Boys can do middle at St Anselm, but for girls the private options near Brookland are lacking.
