The war ended in 1967.  These are merely the ongoing consequences.  If Jordan wanted to retain control of the West Bank, they should have thought about that before joining with Egypt and Syria to plan ISrael's demise, prematurely, as it turned out.

The PEOPLE (the majority of which are under the age of 25!!) deserve to live their lives. They are being ethnically cleansed and collectively punished, and you're using conflicts from 60 years ago to justify their murders and expulsion from their homes (a violation of international law). And you're making excuses for people who rejected the opportunity for their own state in 1947.  Each subsequent generation doesn't get a "do-over", but lives with the consequences of the choices made by their forebears. It's not an excuse. They literally weren't alive. Interesting that it's fine to blame young brown people for the sins of their ancestors but definitely dont do that to the progeny of white colonizers sitting atop their mountains of ill-gotten gains they have no intention of returning. Until white (and most Israelis are white) people learn to effing share, nothing will change. [/quote]
