MCPS teacher and while I agree reunification procedures leave room for improvement, please give suggestions for improvements. And remember that we are limited in resources, SERT teams change every year, as does staffing.[/quote]

1) If I take the time to fill out that dang PCR form each fall, then use it! They didn't honor the authorized names on the list and refused to release my kid to an authorized friend.

2) If you send out a message that says "bus riders will take their normal routes home so parents don't come" then switch at 7:47pm to say "get your kid" - that was unhelpful. So much for not contributing to the standstill traffic.

They will say staff have to get to their own families. Who was to supervise students when staff had to leave to get to their next obligation? [/quote]
