I’m an Independent who voted for Trump and hold a masters degree in a STEM field. I get news via WSJ, WaPo, the Economist, and podcasts. I’m overall happy with my vote for Trump, although his foreign policy has not been great (as expected). I voted for Dems in the past and would vote for one again, but not any of the names being tossed around for the next nominee.
So you're ok with the killings in Minneapolis, the measles outbreaks, and building a $300M ballroom while the national debt is spiraling out of control and Americans are struggling to pay for groceries and health insurance?
This post is the epitome of what’s wrong with the group think of current Dems. If Dems want to earn people’s votes, they need a platform beyond “well, at least we’re not that guy!” Seriously. I haven’t voted for a republican on the presidential ticket since the early 90s, but I have about had it with Dems. They just needed to be slightly better than Trump to win, and thought Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris was the best choice.
