OP here: can you explain how this is achieved?  FCPS Online doesn't offer all languages.  So are we talking about a paid private class?[/quote]

No.

Online will likely be the option.  Or your kid will get a free period in the library. And log on virtually to the language class.

You can also see if you can drive her to Langley 1st/2nd or the final period for the language class, then back to McLean for the rest of her classes, like they do for Academy classes.  This was given as an option at our school when it had to eliminate a specialized AP class not taught at every high school.
